Welcome, I’m Brittany

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I work with couples and individuals who feel stuck in painful patterns and want something to shift.  Together, we’ll create a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and explore new ways of relating.

My style is warm, curious, and collaborative, with room for honesty and humor.  In our sessions, we’ll slow down recurring patterns, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and practice new ways of responding.  You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin - we can start with what feels hard to say.

Relationships are at the heart of my work

I support couples navigating communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, and changes in intimacy. In my work with individuals, I focus on how you relate to yourself and others—including healing from narcissistic or emotional abuse, navigating relationship anxiety, and making space for your own needs.

What we can work toward

In therapy, we’ll focus on understanding the patterns keeping you stuck, communicating with greater clarity, and creating a relationship that feels safer, more connected, and more secure. Together, we can work toward repairing trust, navigating conflict, expressing needs, and building lasting skills for your relationship.

Therapeutic Approach

I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and safe enough to explore their experiences, express their needs.

I believe that building a trusting relationship with your therapist takes time. Our nervous systems respond to the sense of safety and connection we experience, and I’m mindful of the importance of establishing that foundation before diving into the deeper layers of your relationship struggles. When we feel emotionally safe and connected, we’re better able to explore painful patterns, understand underlying needs, and create meaningful change.

My approach is both compassionate and direct. I’ll meet you with empathy and understanding while also helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

What to Expect

The first few sessions are focused on getting to know you, understanding your experiences, and exploring what brings you to therapy. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, feeling stuck, seeking greater clarity, or hoping to create meaningful change, we’ll take time to understand your concerns, strengths, and goals.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns, experiences, and emotions that may be influencing your relationships, sense of self, and overall well-being. This may include looking at communication, boundaries, emotional connection, past experiences, and the challenges you’re hoping to work through.

The process is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. Through conversation, reflection, and, when helpful, questionnaires or individual sessions, we’ll begin to identify what’s working, what may be holding you back, and where change feels possible.

From there, we’ll develop a plan for therapy that reflects your priorities and goals. My hope is to create a supportive space where you feel understood, gain greater insight, and build the tools to navigate challenges, strengthen connections, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Outside of Therapy

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and mom who loves laughing, playing games with my family, and being outside—especially in the fall around a bonfire. I’m a thriller‑book reader, a bit of a foodie, and I love art, decorating, and taking care of my people.
